Niki Mourouti

Nutritionist-Dietician, PhD

Dr. Niki Mourouti graduated from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics of Harokopio University of Athens in 2010. She completed her Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Nutrition in 2012 and her PhD thesis in Epidemiology of Nutrition from the same Department of Harokopio University of Athens in 2015. She worked as a research fellow in a 22-month research programme entitled “Environment, Lifestyle and Cancer in women” at the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics of Harokopio University of Athens. Since October 2014, she works as a Nutritionist-Dietician at the Oncology Unit of the 3^rdDepartment of Medicine, Athens Medical School, “Sotiria” General Hospital. She is also a Tutor at the Department of Dietetics at AKMI Metropolitan College (AMC) since September of 2016. She has published 11 papers in peer-reviewed journals with more than 133 citations and more than 20 abstracts in international and Greek conferences.

Being a volunteer, as an idea and attitude of life, is the ultimate act of offering initially to other people and then to our society and the environment in every area of ​​life. As a result, MANA has been the starting point for contacting women withbreast cancer or gynecological cancers and to whom she voluntarily provides dietary and counseling support, enhancing this attitude of life while supporting MANA’s outstanding work.
