“Theatroparea” is a non-profit company founded in 2008, whose main goal is humanitarian aid toward fellow people in need.

We are a small group of motivated members who are all inspired by values that put people at the centre of their activism. Driven by our shared love for theatre and a desire for helping the less fortunate, we pursue our goal by staging amateur theatrical performances of charitable character.

Our non-profit company relies on and materializes the ideas of volunteerism and solidarity. Many volunteer supporters and collaborators who embrace the company’s philosophy and beliefs, honor us by offering their knowledge, time and help. Our motto is “teamwork makes the dream work”. We are proud and happy to include in our labors vulnerable social groups and we constantly invite to our performances people with kinetic difficulties.

We have staged ten theatrical plays by now, which have wholeheartedly entertained our public and our earnings are “given back” to charities.

PRAKSIS for their programme “Social Housing & Day Centers”, MDA Hellas non-profit organization for the Care of People with Neuromuscular Diseases, the small nursery and primary school of the village Krania in Grevena area in Macedonia, the S.K.E,P Association of Social Responsibility for Children and Youth, young Archery champion Ariadne Horti, the Merimna non-profit organization, the non-profit company for the Protection of Spasmophyliacs, Infant Villages S.O.S, the elementary schools of Serifos island and Kranidi, the nursery schools of Appollona village in Rhodes and of Astypalea island, the Jewish museum of Athens, “Elpida”, “Hope Genesis”, “Aurora”, “Mana”, the fund drive of Kollegio Athinon, the special High School of Ilion, “Mazi gia to pedi”, “Friends of Disabled” and more.
