  • Vezené is a timeless Greek-inspired bistro-bar located in the Hilton district, serving regional dishes motivated from personal views on local traditions. The wood fired kitchen boasts pasture raised meats and local seafood, blending natural ingredients and primitive techniques that remain simple to their core. Chef/butcher Ari Vezene garnered widespread acclaim for creating the first restaurant in Athens to pair traditional Ionian Sea recipes with whole animal butchery, promoting a new approach to Greek cuisine, one that does not draw up geographical borders but allows ample room to rewrite the chapter; one of personal cooking. He loves serving up his own version of delicious Greco Roman pies and flatbreads and is also known as the creator of insta-popular layered ice cream cake called “Ari’s Deal Closer”, served as tribute to his New York origin. As Ari puts it, at Vezené “We cook for ourselves, our families, and for you with honesty and intimacy as if you were invited to our home.”
